The Fall

Yosemite National Park, California 2025

I approached Bridalveil Fall after the overnight snow, when the branches in front had been loaded to their limit. They hung low, forming a dense web of white against the dark rock face. The waterfall drops between two cliff walls, centered in the gap. The snow had already framed the composition — I only needed to position myself within it. Mist rising from the base met the freezing air, turning to thin ice on the nearest branches. Everything in the image is still except the water itself. That single element of motion through a frozen landscape is what holds the frame together. Stillness needs something to push against.

The Edition

Edition of 7 + 2 Artist Proofs

The seven prints are shared across all three sizes, so whichever scale you choose, it is one of seven. When the last print is placed, the image is retired and never printed again.

Pricing follows the edition. Each print placed moves the next one up, so the earliest collectors acquire the work at its lowest price.

The Print

Each print is made as an archival pigment print on Hahnemühle fine art paper, chosen for its depth, tonal range and a surface that rewards close looking. Every print is signed and numbered by hand and arrives with a Certificate of Authenticity recording the title, edition number and production details.
